Companions for Seniors are available on a daily basis to help with household and personal needs. We take great pride in the quality of the Companions and strive to uphold the same values we show when working with children and their families. Companions are educated, compassionate, energetic, and have a strong desire to help others. They range in age from mid-twenties to mid-sixties. They go through a rigorous application process and personal interview. Their references, criminal history, and driving record are checked by our experienced staff. (Companions for Seniors are not nurses or home health care aides.)

Companion Services include:

• Social Interaction
• Driving
• Accompany to medical appointments and provide assistance in dealing with and understanding care providers.
• Act as advocate when dealing with vendors
• Help with shopping
• Help organize living space
• Help with correspondence
• Help with Light housekeeping, cooking and laundry

Companions are available for one time assignments or ongoing positions.

Member Fees:

• Annual Membership Fee: $250
• Daily Placement Fee: $20 per day*
• Companion Hourly Fee:  $15/hour  (four hour minimum)
  
  * Emergency Fee: additional $15 for same day or next day service.

Non-Member Fees:

• Daily Placement Fee: $40 per day*
• Companion Hourly Fee:  $15/hour  (four hour minimum)
