"Annie's Nannies has come to our
rescue many, many times. All of the nannies that we have hired
through Annie's Nannies have, without
exception, been trustworthy, wonderful people. And our children
have always loved them! Suzanne is a master at placing just
the right nanny with the right
family." -

Is it customary to provide gas mileage for my nanny while on the job?
Yes! If your nanny is driving your children around in her car she definately needs to be paid for her mileage. I know that this gets pricey because gas prices have gone "sky high". However, the nanny is your employee and using her car to drive your children creates a lot of wear and tear. The IRS standard mileage deduction for 2008 is 50.5 cents per mile.
